The Rev. Gregory L. Millikin

priest and RECTOR

Fr. Greg began his tenure at Grace on February 1, 2018, having previously served as Associate Rector at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Alexandria, Virginia. A graduate of Virginia Theological Seminary, Greg holds a Bachelor’s of Arts from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. He previously spent over ten years working in the film industry primarily at Fox Searchlight Pictures in the marketing department. He is married to Andrew Rutledge, who is also a priest and associate rector at All Saints’ Episcopal Church in Chicago. Last year, Greg published his first book, Being Called, Being Gay, for Church Publishing, Inc. Greg and Andrew, and their two cats, Franklin and Lucy, make their home at the Rectory across the street from the church.

FUN facts

  • Greg is a huge college basketball fan, given his alma mater

  • His favorite movie of all time is Superman (1978)

  • He plays guitar and piano and loves taking on new creative projects

Jennifer Nettles-Lake

parish administrator

Jennifer begins on Tuesday, March 19th as Grace’s next Parish Administrator. Jennifer is a dedicated mother of five who rises to any challenge she’s faced with. Organized, leader, empathetic, charismatic, honest and loyal are words that best describe her. She looks forward to the fellowship and blessings ahead of her with this and every endeavor.  Jennifer will be in the office Mondays through Fridays, 9 to 12 Noon.

FUN facts

  • Jennifer’s pastimes include - and are limited to - driving to and from kids’ sports and events.

  • She also enjoy reading while waiting in the parking lot of said events.

Chrissy Putlak

minister of music

Chrissy started working at Grace Episcopal Church as the Minister of Music in February of 2018. She started taking piano lessons when she was 7 years old and has been playing ever since. She received her Bachelor’s in Music Education from VanderCook College of Music in 2017 and currently teaches General Music to kindergarten through third grade in Park Forest. When she’s not teaching or playing, she loves to spend time with her friends and family.


  • Chrissy learned how to play 19 instruments in college - the ones she excels at include piano, percussion, and bassoon.

  • ”Lord of the Rings” are her all-time favorite movies and book series.

  • Chrissy loves plants and gardening - although she is new to it, she loves planting flowers (or tomatoes) and taking care of her many houseplants.
