Formation

Children's Education

The goal of our children’s formation program is to show our children that they are all truly and completely loved by God, that they are full and welcome members of our church, and to help inspire curiosity and growth in their faith.

Sundays at 10:15 AM

Sunday School

Sunday School meets at 10:15 am in the parish hall, during the first part of our 10:30 am service. Children rejoin the congregation at the sign of the peace. Children ages 3 through 5th grade are welcome to join us for stories, crafts and games to help them grow in their faith and knowledge of our Church. For more information, contact Jackie Mennella at [email protected].

The program we use is called The Little Box of Good News. It was created by the Episcopal Diocese of Louisiana as a way to support faith formation at home. In addition to our Sunday morning classes, each family receives a box full of fun, faith-based activities to do together as a family.

Every Summer

Vacation Bible School

Every summer, children ages 3–11 are invited to join us for a fun week of Bible stories, songs, snacks, crafts, science experiments and lots of games. Our registration fee is $25 for the week per child, to cover the cost of participation. Scholarships are available for families facing financial hardship.

More information on specific dates and times announced each spring.

Children are welcome at every service.

We provide crayons and quiet fidget toys so children can be active participants.
